White Metal, Zinc and Resin Socketing

These are generally considered the most efficient termination, developing the full breaking, load of the rope When correctly made. The material flows around the brushed out wires of the rope forming conical wedge in the socket.

Resin generally has the advantage of not requiring external heat (external heat may be required when used at low temperatures) and under certain circumstances can be more efficient than white metal .
